On May 18-19, Kazan hosted the XIV International Economic Forum "RUSSIA - ISLAMIC WORLD: KAZANFORUM" which serves as the main platform for economic interaction between the Russian Federation and the Islamic world.
Within the framework of the forum, representatives of the CenterProgramSystems took part in the round table "Development of interregional and international industrial cooperation with involving SMEs".
Small and medium-sized businesses are expressing great interest in developing cooperation with companies from the OIC countries. Local SME support program includes effort aimed at developing cooperation between Russian SMEs and companies from the UAE, Azerbaijan, Oman, Turkey and Uzbekistan. There are negotiations concerning building similar ties with the institutions of Malaysia, Egypt and Iraq.
